Did anyone find it a bit odd that Ge Xiao's backstory was completely dropped for these episodes?
I noticed she disappeared. To be honest, I was fine with it. I figured it was a way of showing that Ge Xiao was thinking of her less, and falling for San Niang. But then. . .I downloaded eps 19-26, and a good 5 episodes are nearly all backstory. And, you know, from what I skimmed - she remains "pure, loyal, and tragic"
How did I not notice before that their base is called ""Live Drunk, Die Screaming"?
I thought it was "Live Drunk, Die Dreaming"?
These episodes were mostly about Hu's past and...I liked them and the plot, but for some reason, they didn't click the way I wanted them to, except for the scenes were Xiao Mei and San Niang thought it was their own private soap opera.
Agree 100%. I love the sibling relationships between Hu, Xiao Mei, and San Niang.
We have a creepy spooky cursed house and family! No doubt we will eventually have a completely non-supernatural resolution,I'm guessing that someone is giving the family
