Rules:
Comment with "me me me" and:
- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better. (I will be more likely to ask you fannish questions than personal.)
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

Questions are from mystickeeper/laceblade.

1. Which family house of Westeros would you like to be a member of? (in terms of personality/history, not in how likely you'd be to survive, lol)

The Starks. Say what you will about their choices when it comes to politics and war, illegitimate kids are better off there than favored kids from most other houses.  No need to worry about being told to go to The Wall or die, your father turning your lover over to his men, or your siblings disfiguring you or telling you they'd happily let you get raped by an entire tribe there.

2. What kind of music do you like to listen to? What are your three favorite songs?

I generally have country on my radio because I've learned that male vocalists in other classifications (many more talented than current country singers) often use harsher and more abrupt sounds with both vocals and intruments that often give me a headache. (If there was a good jazz or blues or classical station locally, I'd have those on too.) But I basically like most kinds of music (not fond of rap), though I have a fondness for oldies and showtunes, and have a slight addiction to foreign music where I know possibly 5 words in the whole song. I don't think I have any specific favorites, sadly. Like books, I have difficulty choosing.

3. Are anime conventions worth attending? Obviously panels wouldn't be as social justice-oriented, but does being surrounded by heinous merchandise like, make you elated with glee?

The only one I've been to is A-Kon, which is scheduled too close to WisCon for me to go to both. The swag is AMAZING. I mean, if WisCon had swag like that, I'd need another bag for it. And A-Kon, I understand, is a smaller one. Also, the cosplayers. Some can be jarring, and some you have to chase through the artist's alley to get their picture. And let us not forget Shirtless Tattoo Renji. (And yeah, the panels I went to at A-Kon were ok, but didn't talk about the things I wanted them to talk about.)

4. When the Sailor V manga comes out, will you buy it?!

Yes! Along with the reissue of the rest, so I can finish reading it.

5. You've been posting about dramas a lot lately; any anime series you've liked a lot lately?

The increase in dramas post is because I'm kind of burned out on US TV (aside from The Borgias, I'm basically put out on some level with all the shows I watch except for my comfy viewing SyFy/spy/mystery shows, which I tend to talk about less. I have Thoughts on the Eureka DVDs that just came out though.)

But to answer your question! The last anime I watched was Gun x Sword, which I found entertaining but nothing special, aside from the main character changing his name, like, every episode. Before that, though, I watched The Melencholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Eden of the East and Spice and Wolf, all of which were excellent. I also rewatched Baccano a few weeks ago, and it remains great.
