What a super boring life I lead. Let me tell ya...

Did errands around the house on Saturday. WooHoo. You know, cut the grass, picked up dog poo, started attempting to open the pool. Sunday I went out with Miss Leanne and Avery. Had fun. Monday went to RI to see my mom. SHe made us dinner so it wasn't a complete loss.

Yesterday I met up with Leanne and Eryn (our new punky friend) at Providence Place Mall. Spent the afternoon shopping and eating. It was nice to get out of the house with Grace (who was an angel, as usual) and to meet new people. Eryn is super sweet and her son Ivan (who is 5 months old) is so cute. Yay for new friends!

Jeff is still depressed. He has a doctors appointment tomorrow so I am hoping his dr will help him out. Much anxiety and depression for ol' Jeffypoo. He says his stomach gets all in knots when he gets up in the mornings, he just dreads going to work so much.

I broke my vacuum. Oops. I was in the basement trying to get all the cat hair and I sucked something up and now the damn machine has no suction. Ugh. I took it apart and can't figure out what the problem is. It's a shitty vacuum but still...you can't NOT vacuum with a child crawling everywhere. So now we have to go buy a new vacuum. I want a Dyson but Jeff has been tough to convince that it's worth the money. Maybe if I can find it on sale it won't be so bad. Really, I don't know why he is so against it. My mom just gave me some savings bonds that she found that my grandparents gave to me in the 70's and 80'2 that are now worth about $600.00 so technically the money can be used to buy the new machine. Whatever.

Am trying to get the pool all set. Bought more chemicals today (such fun). Grace was good in the store. She smiled at everyone. It was so cute when she got tired and would rest her head against me while I was pushing the carriage. I would just stop and hug her. Man, I love that kid. My hearts just melts.

By the way, is it normal for her to be in a hitting phase? She's hitting me all the time and it drives me nuts. I tell her "no, we don't hit in this house" and she just looks at me and does it again. Ugh. It's hard to remain angry since she is so damn cute but really....it's just not appropriate behavior.
