Jesus, the weather was super nice this weekend. Warm and sunny and perfect.
Yesterday Grace and I went to Peter's house to celebrate Liam and Abby's birthday. Much fun. Jeff went to a wedding as he was video taping it for a family friend. Grace and I got home, rested for about an hour, I made her some dinner, then we went outside and had the first camp fire of the year. She loved it and enjoyed her Little Mermaid Automatic Bubble Blowing Machine that she got for her birthday. Jeff got home right as she was going to bed so he read her some books while I cleaned up a little. We watched some TV and by the time I got upstairs, my sinus headache was back.
Yup, still sick. Over 2 weeks now and it's been 14 days since the last time I could taste or smell (well, I could taste a little bit of my dinner last night but it's gone again now). I'm feeling better but not at 100%. Last night, as I was lying in bed, I could feel the headache moving from behind my right eye, down my nose, across my cheeks, into my ear, and down my jaw. Ouch.
I got to sleep late this morning. Woo Hoo! Jeff and I took Grace and the dogs outside. Mr Lucky kept running into the neighbors yard so that wasn't too fun. We need to train him on the shock fence. Picked up the yard, did some gardening, raked some leaves (love the blister I now have on my left hand). It was gorgeous out. Even though I felt crappy it was still nice to be outside, in the sun. When we came inside, the 3 of us snuggled in bed for a bit. I love that. Then we went to Friendlys for dinner. Mmmm. Now I am doing laundry. Good times.
I must go to bed early tonight as I have Liam in the morning. Ugh. I hate waking up early.
