Grace is gone, my MIL picked her up yesterday and is bringing her back tomorrow. Jeff and I went to see Body Worlds 2 last night in Boston. http://www.bodyworlds.com/index.html It was very cool and interesting and slightly disturbing. I'm still not sure if it was worth the $50 we spent to get us both in.

We had to spend close to $1600.00 yesterday. I shut off a light in the bathroom Thursday night and it blew out the electricity to half our house. No lights in the family room, none of our big appliances worked, most of the plugs in the house didn't give out electricity, no lights in our bedroom (although the bathroom in our bedroom was fine), nothing outside, half the basement was out. It was bizarre. So Jeff called an electrician and we ended up needing a whole new circuit board. Apparently there was arching and sparks going on. So while we are thankful our house didn't explode in a fiery mass, it sucks to spend $1600.00 we don't have. There goes my money my Christmas money from the in-laws... I pulled the GFI out of the wall that started the whole mess and said to Jeff, "This isn't even grounded! This is wired all wrong and why on earth did the guys that installed it use electrical tape all over the place?" but since I'm not an electrician, Jeff wanted me to leave it alone (which I did). The electrician took a look at it yesterday and said the same thing. HA! I was right! While it wasn't the cause for the brown out, it was the straw that broke the camels back. So the electrician fixed that for us, too, free of charge. It would have cost us a ridiculous amount of money to get it fixed so I am very thankful that he did it for free.

Jeff and I have a fun day planned today: we are getting Grace a twin bed. She will be so psyched to come home tomorrow and see that. My sister got her really cute Laura Ashley fairy sheets for Christmas so those will be going on the bed. I can't wait to see her face when she realizes she has a Big Girl Bed. Which means, of course, that she is doing great with not peeing the bed at night. Now if only I could get her to poop in the potty....

house, potty, grace
