(no subject)
I have the morning to myself and what do I do? Do I sleep, like I wanted to do? No. I get up, make some tea, have a smoke, and get on the computer. Just like any other day.
Jeff took Grace to his haircut appointment specifically so that I could sleep in. I suck. But it happens so rarely that I have the house to myself that I just got giddy with excitement.
Do you know that I sent out over 60 holiday cards? I spend more on the stamps than I did on the cards.
I'm feeling slightly better. I cancelled a play-date we had scheduled for yesterday. I felt bad and was actually looking forward to it but I didn't want to risk getting other people sick right before the holidays. I was supposed to go to an annual Girls Festive Night at my friend Jen's house (she has it every year) but I didn't go for the same reason as stated above. Instead, I stayed home and fought with Jeff. Good times.
Jeff wants to go to the Bazaar Bizarre today (http://www.bazaarbizarre.org/boston.html) but I'm not sure I'm up to it. I went a few years ago and it was a mad house. So to drag my sorry ass all the way to Boston and go with my 3 year old.... I don't know. It might be fun, we'll have to see how I feel when they get home.
I haven't made any Christmas cookies yet. I need to get on the ball with that since that particular task was handed down to my sister and I; my mom no longer makes the cookies.
