game and school
Game on Sunday night was postponed on account of people being disracted by Fox's Sunday night line up and middle eastern popcorn. So we are thinking about meeting in a different place next Sunday. Not much happened. We resurected a companion (again - she keeps dying) and went into a dungeon. The DM plays what I guess is a pretty classical game. Our first adventure involved recovering someone who had been kidnapped by dark elves. That's much more my style. Even though I like to play the chaotic neutral characters, I like to fight evil, too. Fighting evil is fun. This weekend is our last long weekend until Thanksgiving. Saying chag sameach is actually getting kind of old, as there have been so many holidays. Sometimes I think I should have gone to HUC, but there are a lot of reasons for me to be here, and in the end I like it here. The things that are different, specifically t'fillah, are differences and novelties that I should get used to before going out and being a Jewish professional. So, t'fillah lab will take a little longer than it would in a Reform setting. I did come here for the range and the differences, as much as because it isn't a movement specific program.
