Did anyone else wake up in the middle of the night with a splitting and totally horrible headache? I hadn't drunk alcohol for 20 hours, and I don't get hangovers except from red wine or port, so it wasn't that. Mum thinks it was a sharp drop in air pressure - a supposition possibly borne out by the forecast.

Any other explanations? Is my head about to explode like an overripe apple?
