Christmas~

Midnight mass last night was pretty fun. The church was semi-full... as in, fuller than on a normal weekend mass, but not full enough that they had to open the hall in the back of the altar for people to sit back there. The best part; however, was the lack of children. <3 I think the youngest people I saw were probably about 14 years old, it was awesome. The mass was so quiet and peaceful. <3

Kellie woke me up at 8:30 this morning, so I was exhausted when I got up. We opened our stockings like we always do, and they were filled with mostly chapsticks and stuff like that, as always. XD Then at 9 we went downstairs to open the real gifts. I got a lot of vests. <3 And a bunch of sweaters as well, which is good because I don't really have many wintery clothes except for my hoodies. And I've recently discovered that when I wear long sleeved shirts or sweaters I tend to look older, especially with my new haircut, so this is good. Hmm, what else did I get? I finally got my Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing as well. And Kellie got it too along with her black DS Lite that she was extremely excited to get. I got a few other things as well, but that's pretty much it.

After we opened gifts, we went back upstairs to play with our stuff and watch the Mythbusters marathon. XD; During this time, we decided to scratch off the scratch lotto tickets my dad gave us. (See, Andy, I knew I'd get some for Christmas!) Anyway, on my first card I won $1 and then another $1! I was excited. Kellie's first card came up with nothing. My second card won me $5! And Kellie's second had nothing. My third had nothing though. And Kellie's third... omfg. She got $10... and another $10... and another... and another... and another. She won $50 on one card. o.o;; And to think I got excited over winning a total of $7... XD

At two, we left for my aunt's house. I hate going there... we only go to visit my dad's side of the family about once a year for Christmas. I do see my cousin at Big Y a lot though, since they shop there. But besides that, I rarely see these people so it's really awkward. They're all so much older than me except for my sister and my cousin's almost two year-old daughter, Elizabeth. And of course, because this year is my first in college, they all liked to ask me a million questions about school and parties and stuff. It was really annoying. <<; Oh well, that's over with for another year.

From them I got: a wallet that I'll never use because it's hideous, a gift card to Starbuck's that I traded with Kellie for a gift card to Bob's because I don't drink coffee, a Border's gift card, a book, a gift card and popcorn tub and Coke bottles from Blockbuster that Kellie and I don't really want seeing as it took us a year to use the gift cards we got last year, a bulletin board, and $25 from my Grandpa.

And now I'm really tired, so I probably won't wake up until late tomorrow. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas!
