Christmas Eve! :D
I can't believe it's Christmas Eve already. Christmas comes in two hours. o.o; I think the reason it doesn't feel like Christmas is partly due to the weather. It's amazingly nice out and has been for a while. It's been in the 50s for the last couple weeks. <3
Recapping to yesterday: Work yesterday was not fun at all, omg. It was scary. It was the day before Christmas Eve... and the store was packed... and the credit card terminals weren't working properly. It was hell. And the cramps I was having didn't help on bit. x_x But I got through it okay! But... then when I got home I had a headache and felt sick-ish, so I took a shower and went to sleep early.
This morning I went into work for Luke. But they didn't know that. XD; Turns out it was a good thing I did though, because apparently my evaluation was due today and thanks to the craziness yesterday, my supervisor wasn't able to do it then. So she did it today, and most of the things she said were really good. She did say I need to be more talkative though. <<; And! I got a raise~! <3 Merry Christmas to me~
Work wasn't bad at all today. And I only worked a four hour shift, so that was nothing. And the news about the raise out me in a good mood. Too bad that good mood turned sour the minute I got home...
My cousins were already at my house when I got there a little after two. Usually they don't come until 4, so I was surprised. Then my dad tells me that my mom's in a bad mood. I won't bother telling you all the details, but eventually I ended up in a really bad mood too... to the point where I actually cried. Looking back, the whole thing seems stupid, but for whatever reason, it was really upsetting at the time.
Anyway, we all had dinner together, but unfortunately there wasn't much food I liked. <<; And then we exchanged gifts... but now that we're all older, we don't get much from my cousins and grandmother. Nonna gave us each $50 and my aunt and uncle gave Kellie and me gift cards to the mall. I miss the days when we were younger and actually got to open gifts. ;_; Oh well, tomorrow I get to open stuff~
And now I shall sit around and waste a couple of hours until my dad takes me to midnight mass. I'm excited! I've never gotten to go to midnight mass before!
