Nights, Clubs, Dj's, Fame, Misrepersentations
So, When we last left our intrepid adventurer, he headed to of all things: THE CAVERN OF SORROW...
I mean: THE CAVE OF EVIL...
I mean: Heaven Night Club, in the depo district of lubbock...
you see, I am a shyguy.... You know, the guy with the smiley mask that tries to steal your stuff in the Mario Brother's games...
So, going to a club != me... Going to club is a social interaction thing... (I do not do that.)
But the reason I went was the DJ... DJ DA RUDE! freaking maker of the MASSIVE hit "SANDSTORM"...
so, Jase and I go to the club, quite early in fact (9:30 PM.) and we enter... smallish looking club... pretty banging sound system.. and a rather dinky looking mix table.. I mean it has a dual driver EP deck, a dual driver CD deck (with mod options), a full spectrum equalizer/sample altering table, and a couple of monitors with standard DJ headphones.
First off) 1. The DJ is not there! He is lord knows where... all we get is the House DJ for the first oh, say FIVE HOURS!
2.) Sadly, I arrived too early for some reason... I mean if you go to see the Guest DJ he should be there from the start, or at least within the first couple of hours... I come to listen to a LEGENDARY DJ, instead I get a House DJ, doing warmups apparently. I had to leave round one AM. Others say Da Rude got there about 30 or so minutes after we left... DAMNIT!
3.) Who would have thought that an "alternative lifestyle" club would have so many COUPLES and so few singles... Not a big fault of course... but my friend says that "straight" clubs have many more singles...
ooohhhh kay! I think I have finally got that all out of my system..
