Stupid people are so so so stupid.

Nixon's nose...I cringed every time he was one screen.

AND THEN THE FLAME BUTTON? SERIOUSLY?!

Honestly, the flame button was the only thing that made me forgive that scene, because in the comic, you see very very little of the actual sex, but there is the flame button. I have no idea why the graphic, prolonged sex was necessary, but it threw me straight out of the movie. The point is Dan no longer feels impotent, not "Dan and Specter had hot hot lovin' for several hours."

As for the fighting, with the exception of Adrien and Manhattan, none of the heroes actually have any super strength/speed. They're just people who trained themselves to fight and put on costumes. Like they couldn't help it. Always something I liked about them. (Adriends fighting=so hot. I pretty much lost it when he caught that meat cleaver, and I don't even like him).

I couldn't watch them saw the guy's arm's off--I had to look away. That was just too messed up, even if it made so much more sense than slitting his throught.

There are no words for the perfection that is Rorschach. He looked right (and, imho, kinda hot) with and without the mask, he was short. The way he moved...man, I could watch a movie that was nothing but an hour of him sneaking into places. But the most amazing bit for me was his death scene. I held my breath, hoping that he would just get it right...and he blew my mind.

Sad thing--my new obsession is Mothman.

I understood that none of them were supposed to have superstrength/speed, but they appeared to in the film. What with the punching through walls and the bones cracking into wrong shapes right and left...

And the flame button would have been forgivable if it had been the only symbolic thing. Like if you saw them start going at it, had a moment of cityscape to show that times passes, and then show the flame from a distance. Then it would have been smile-worthy. But after all that unnecessary rutting? Nah.

Glad to hear a fellow review!
