My wedding is in 39 days!! We have spent the last 30 days making major wedding plans... and I'm so ready for the day to just be here. I'm ready to say those vows and be married to him forever. I'm ready for that second ring to be on my finger, and not in his sock drawer. :)
This week has started off slow, but has potential to be great. I stayed home sick yesterday - but am feeling tons better today. I think it was some kind of stomach bug. This year has not been a healthy year for me! :( But tonight I have class... so that will be fun and interesting. We read Billy Budd, Sailor by Herman Melville this week. I am excited to review the story in class.
Tomorrow night we go meet with our Pastor again, so I have to do my homework for that meeting. We had to review some personal questions (no with each other) to discuss once we meet on Wednesday.
1. When you're upset or angry about something your partner does or fails to do, do you find it easy to tell him/her about it?
2. Can you reveal your weaknesses and worries to our partner without fear of embarrassment, criticism, or judgment?
3. Do you check with each other about money concerns that affect your both? When it comes to finances, do you usually agree on what to spend your money on?
4. Do you believe that your partner understand the importance of the work that you do and respects that time you need to do it?
5. Do you discuss important decisions and the impact that will have on both of you?
6. Are your needs for intimacy met regularly?
7. Do you find that agreements you've mad can be altered without a huge upset?
These questions have helped me dig deep into my heart and really consider if I am as open and honest with Wesley as I should be, and do I share everything with him. So far, I do. He knows everything, down to my worries about school and fears about the future.
On Thursday, I'm going over to a new friend's house to have a girl's night with her... dinner and a movie. Of course, her baby boy, Cullen, will be there! Love that kid! He's so adorable! Can't wait!!
This weekend is Valentine's day. Wesley and I don't have big plans. We might go out to eat and I might talk him into a movie on Sunday afternoon. But no other big plans really. I might want to go to IKEA if my tax return comes into my account soon. We need bookshelves in the living room, bad. I might also paint some more. My kitchen is only half done and I have not even started on the dining room yet! Hope everyone has a good week! Lovers you all!
