I'm trying

I finally started writing yesterday, right before I got kicked off the computer and told to bring my own to school. Grr. Anyway:

Ok, so last friday I went home, changed, packed for the weekend, and then drove over to Mark's.

Around 7, we gathered Josh, Julie and Matt and walked to the station, unfortunately Mark forgot something and had to run back home, thus he JUST missed the train and had to catch the next one. We met up with Reiko, Manami and other people at Kofu station, while some CRAZY and I mean CRAAAAZY man decided I was the perfect person to talk to. He tried to give me his umbrella and a shawl around my shoulders. Finally Reiko yelled at him.

At Za Watami we had a really long sunken table. It was meant to seat 16 JAPANESE. We fit 19 foreigners and Japanese. Needless to say, it was a bit tight. Everyone showed up and we started eating. The place was soo busy though, and it was hard to get our drinks and such. It's a great place, but I think they under-staff. It's probably a good thing though, because we all managed to drink quite a lot in the 2 hours. I myself put away 4 decanters of white wine. This I regretted shortly after.

After dinner, we tried to go to karaoke but were denied, so we hit the Vault for a bit. I couldn't take it though, so Mark and I went home. Ouch.

The next day, we went to lunch at Bikuri Donkey, then did some shopping.

After a few hours of running around, I desperately needed a nap. Around 7 we set off for Jason's party in Enzan. We ate, and arrived around eight. Everyone else had been drinking for quite awhile, I think. Amy and Jason bought Mark and Lisa a lovely birthday cake, we all sang, and then eventually forgot to eat the cake (we had it the next day though!). Around 1am we went to Amy's to sleep, well, to be loud and drunk first.

The next morning after an INCREDIBLY slow start, we ate lunch at skylark, and then took taxis to the wine festival. It rained, which totally sucked, but there were tons of people there and lots of friends to talk with. I had a really good time, apart from the rain.

After, we had cake, then Mark and I drove back, absolutely exhausted (I almost said knackered, but I'm not British, so that would sound dumb).

You'd have to ask him yourself, but I think Mark had a pretty good 23rd birthday.
