The second dark day...but with blue sky!
Today Brisbane awoke to Blue Skies but faced the second day of devastating floods.
Once again, I just sat- glued to my TV- shocked that this was happening.
It still seems so unreal because down here where I live- 20 mins from the CBD- it was like any other summer day. I swam in the pool, I played Wii, I watched the devastation feeling helpless.
75% of QLD is now declared a disaster area....this is twice the size of TEXAS in the USA....
Brisbane is the CAPITAL CITY of Queensland....it is the 3rd largest city in Australia.
The CBD is now underwater.
I have a found some vids- that I am putting here so in 3 years time (if they are still up!) I can look again and think.
