WOW! I just checked and it's been a long while since I've updated! I really have no clue as to why......possibly because not much has been going on.
Our new CD's arrived, and they look really great. The artwork came out nicely, and I'm about as satisfied as I'm going to get with the final project. I'm telling you, I hear about fifty gajillion mistakes every time I listen, but that may be because I'm trying to find them. We worked a long time on getting it like we wanted it, and so I will resign myself to what it is. It can't be changed now, at any rate.
We had a concert last Friday and it went really, really well. The place we sang at is always a fun time.....you haven't lived until you've seen four old grannies onstage doing leg kicks AHAHAHAHAHA! It would be too hard to explain, but suffice it to say, hilarity ensued. The other group we were singing with did a version of "King Jesus", our new signature song, and my dad (wrongly) decided that we were going to sing it as well. I'm not trying to brag, but we really did do it better than them LOL! They were really nice and said sure we could do it, but I still felt a little wierd about it. But it all came out well, and we came out with some good sales, too. No stalkers were present, and that's always a plus!
Work has been the same-old, same-old......it never changes. Truly, the one constant in my life. I don't know how I'd survive if I didn't have my iPod. I am officially all caught up on 24, and am waiting anxiously like the rest of the world for the next episode. I started season one of Prison Break on a friend's recommendation, and I'm loving it so far. Because of my iPod, I now watch every show known to man....it's sad really. Oooh, another thing I'm loving on my iPod.......podcasts. There are some really good and funny ones out there.
I've been busy as a bee this weekend making some icons and such.....to see proof of my productiveness, you can check out my icon journal
honkforicons. I didn't even leave the house today.
We had another Guitar Hero tournament tonight, and I came in second. It's really upsetting me that my sister rules the Guitar Hero world.....I have got to step up my game.
For the romance readers on my list, I just finished a wonderful historical trilogy by Jen Holling: "My Wicked Highlander", "My Devilish Scotsman", and "My Shadow Warrior". I highly recommend them. Why can't romance heroes come to life? I need one.
And yeah, that's about it......I hope you have all been doing well! Have a great weekend!
