a wedding and a funeral and a birthday dinner
There were two great TV events this weekend, the funeral of our beloved Pope and the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla. And of course a couch potato like me would not let the moment pass without staying glued to the screen. Thank God for technology, satellites and CNN, even in the comforts of our home, we get to have front row seats to such occasions.
Pope's funeral was very solemn and I cried when I saw that people were giving him rounds of applause as they ushered his casket inside. Sighhh
On a brighter note, yes the much awaited wedding finally took place. Funny how my parents, marimarah and I sat scrutinizing every moment of it and eagerly awaiting the appearance of their royal cuteness (Harry and William).
One thing that intrigued me is how every lady in the Church seemed to be wearing a head piece (hat/feather/plant?) The mad hatters stole the show! Here are just a few
Also, went to Monique's birthday dinner. As always, good food, good company, great times. HAppy Happy Birthday gurl! you are loved!!
