Riverblossom Hills: Wan/Ramaswami (R5)
Patricia spends her maternity leave working away at her novel. Seen in the background is Sanjay coming home from his job... as a mime. But he doesn't mind so much now that he's with Patricia.
Patricia goes into labour in the middle of the night.
It's a girl! Meet Mei Wan. Patricia and Sanjay aren't planning on getting married anytime soon, and even if they did, Patricia would want to keep and pass on her last name. Sanjay's already got two kids with his name, and he doesn't want to be greedy or anything.
Cleo's old room...
... is transformed into a nursery for Mei.
Sanjay loves taking care of his new daughter. It makes him miss Shanti and Mohinder just a little bit less, although he does know it's all his own fault that he doesn't get to see them as much as he'd have liked to.
He and Patricia waste no time in trying for another one...
Family life...
... It's not always perfect.
But Sanjay and Patricia truly are in love, and cannot imagine being with anyone else. Both have their regrets about the decisions they have made, but all in all... they are happy.
