As mentioned, I put both the Kat and Kim houses in my Viper Canyon neighbourhood and made them over. And here's the new Kim house! This one is not changed as much as Tara Kat's house. I actually rather like the quirky, '60s SciFi look of the Kims' house, but I fiddled a little with the layout to make it more useful, and also changed it to fit into ( Read more... )

Your makeover looks adorable. I like their party area. It looks like the best place to have fun. If I played this house I'd throw a party every single day. Thank you for sharing this :)

Heh, I built the Kims a super-modern black & white house for Vanderburg, but the retro look does suit them well. :P

I really like the retro furniture and music from Pets. It's a shame I'm not really interested in it otherwise.

Oh, I'd like to see your house for them! A modern house could work for them too, they just need something "neat and clean", I think.

I guess you don't have Pets? I like the animals, but they leave much to be desired in the way they were implemented. In fact, the Sims 3 Pets EP has been tempting me to give TS3 another try... (but it hasn't quite succeeded yet).

I agree! To me Cynthia seems like the type of person who'd want things in order.

I have Pets for PC but I didn't buy it for Mac. I dunno... it didn't impress me much, except for the aforementioned elements.

Thank you! :D I think the Kim house is one of the best pre-made houses, so I didn't want to change it completely, just make it a little more useful!

Thank you. :) To be honest, most of the decoration is EAxis' doing, I just updated and switched it around a little! I like the atomic age stuff, too. I don't use it enough!
