Do-it-yourself-subhoods
I was wondering if anyone else has seen this tutorial by Mootilda? It describes how to make your own subhood templates from scratch. It also describes (further down the thread) how to make existing 'hoods into subhoods. This means that building your own megahood, using whichever versions of existing 'hoods that you want (as long as they have no attached subhoods already) should be a relatively easy process! Most interesting. Perhaps I'll make a collection of subhood-versions of my clean Maxis 'hoods. (Except Belladonna Cove, which doesn't work as a subhood because of the apartments.)
