Extras: The McGreggor Family
Next up is the McGreggor family... Be warned, there's a lot of pictures!
Leod's farm, slightly upgraded.
Living all alone, he decided to adopt a dog to keep him company.
Grimalkin. Second best pet name, after Ronroneo.
Stella Roth comes for a visit.
Leod is into her, but alas, she's not interested. If only he knew that half the other women in the neighbourhood are after him! (Well, he does find out at some point.)
It's a pretty monotone life. Farming all day, sleeping all night... just Leod and his dog.
Or is it? Who's on the other end I wonder?
Tara Kat, all the way over in Pleasantview! (Which isn't in the rotation yet, only Tara, 'cause she's separate from the other inhabitants there anyway.)
Tara's life mirrors Leod's in some way, except instead of taking care of a farm and a dog, she's got a full time job in taking care of three cats.
Leod comes for a "real life" visit and they hit it off!
Naturally, he invites her to come see his farm, too.
Leod hopes for lots of sunshine, it'll do wonders for his strawberries!
The decorative plants are somewhat neglected while Leod focuses on his crops.
Why yes, there is a lot of kitty spam in this post. (Tara was briefly employed on the lowest level of the Law career, hence the outfit, but she got fired.)
She keeps in touch with Leod.
They keep growing closer.

I made them wait for this, it seemed right for them. Offscreen, though, Leod's already lost his virginity to Cleo Shikibu (but she wasn't interested in commitment).

Samantha and Mickey have their kittens! The yellow one is Saffron (female) and the white is Coco (male).

Winter has rolled around again. Leod is busy packing away last season's produce.
Tara does a little producing of her own.

Blue eyes and brown hair is Fiona, named after Leod's mother, and brown eyes and red hair is Kelly (I <3 recessive genes). Yes, more twin girls. There must be something in the water in Riverblossom Hills [/old joke].
Leod tries to make a little money by selling his fruit and vegetables. Neither he nor Tara have a job, so they're a little, well, poor. I do use money cheats in this 'hood, but primarily to set up families as I see fit.
The house is a little crazy with so many pets, but it does make for many good pictures.

A rare moment. All six pets asleep at the same time - and during the night, even!
Taking care of five cats, two toddlers, a dog and a house is a bit much for poor Tara.
Saffron and Coco get brand new collars of their own. They'll soon be given away to some of Leod and Tara's good friends. That'll make the house a little more manageable.
"Ugh... How long was I out?"
Yeah, you really did put that poor toy mouse to good use.
