Extras: The Gieke Family

May 30, 2010 22:41

I'm playing the Ottomas family in the Uberhood, naturally, and while my little story is focusing on them, I'm playing all the other families in the active neighbourhoods too (at the time, I've only added Riverblossom Hills, Bluewater Village, Academié Le Tour and, more recently, Belladonna Cove to the rotation, to try to keep it from becoming too overwhelming). So I thought I'd post some "extra" updates on the families which don't really have much involvement with the Ottomi clan (yet).

First up is Chester Gieke!

He lives in this small house in Bluewater Village, all alone...

His days are spent building robots, his nights searching the sky. He had a job in the science career for a short while, but the social pressure was too much so now he makes money solely from selling his robots instead.

Wait, did I say all alone? Not quite true.

This charming fellow is Ronroneo, Chester's cat.

He gives Chester the company he needs.

Without him, all the lonely nights of stargazing might've driven Chester insane.

After almost a whole sim week of desperate searching, Chester finally got what he wanted...

Ronroneo isn't especially impressed with the whole ordeal.

The inevitable.

Ronroneo is an old cat, and Chester has put together a special recipe (made from some chemicals he stole from his former workplace) to keep him young and healthy for a longer time. Chester can't bear the thought of being without him!

The days pass slowly and quietly, it's just Chester, Ronroneo and the ant farm... but Chester's growing belly is a sure sign that the peace and quiet won't last for long.

Ronroneo is not amused with the noise his human is producing. What's all the fuss about?

Meet Orion. Chester (and I) aren't very creative with stellar names.

Ronroneo is not pleased. Not pleased at all. Will Orion live through the night? We will find out... later.
