Are you serious about the seventy-seven drummers? I myself am a drummer, which is irrelevant for all intents and purposes. Fucking seventy-seven, sounds biblical in proportions or something. All I know is, I will find a way to go to this show....

not exactly. i read a post a month or two ago on this music forum (vivalavinyl) in which some dude asked if any drummers were interested in playing the show. he said he had connections.

i have no idea who john zorn is. where should i start? i guess wikipedia or something

yeah...so basically nirvana and sonic youth were the ones who I think somehow got The Boredoms distributed stateside. John Zorn, besides recently winning the McCarthy Genius grant and playing the fuck out of the saxophone, runs Tzadik records, which puts out a lot of shit Boredoms. Check out Naked City's recordings, Yatmatsuka Eye is the singer. Painkillers= sometimes Buckethead as guitarist, John Zorn on crazy atonal sax, Bill Laswell on bass, and the drummer from Napalm Death. There's so much fucking Zorn out there...
