Last semester's happening in less than 18 hours. While I can't wait for school to be over, I'm also simultaneously terrified and excited about the future. Where will I go? What will I do? What can I do? Is this right for me?
One of the reasons why I used to want to enter a professional line such as medicine was because the future would be decided
the moment you step into school (mid life crisis not warranted), and you'd be assured that you'll have a job and you won't have to worry where you're going or what you're doing.
On the other hand, your future's really limited, in the sense that you are only equipped with a certain set of skills required for a very specific type of work. With a liberal arts degree, the possibilities are limitless. Scary, but empowering all at the same time. I can't decide which I feel more strongly for.
I wish I had someone who's been through this route to talk to.
