Well, this is one kind of work, right?
So, I'm at work, but I've finished mainly everything, and my boss is on the phone, so I can't ask for my next assignment. I've really liked the "sit and read about how other people did the job, then throw away the useless crap they kept" part of the job. Less scary people-interaction, which is good for my nerves. I mean, I can do customer service with the best of them, but this is more relaxing.
Anyway, St Vincent (the hospital where I work) blocks chat programs on their computers. So, boo, no AIM or anything. Believe me, I've tried everything I could think of. Anyway, it's not like I'm sitting in one place much of the time.
On a different note, I wanted to let everyone who still reads my lj know about something very important occurring in Indy this summer. So, I'm posting this email I recently got:
Footlite Musicals will conduct open auditions for all adult roles for its production of "Footloose" on Saturday, May 27, at 1:00 PM, at Footlite's home, the Hedback Community Theater, 1847 North Alabama Street, Indianapolis, IN.
The Footlite production will be presented July 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 16, at the Hedback under the direction of Kathleen Clarke Horrigan and the choreography of Melissa Schott
Auditioners are requested to prepare a song not from the show containing one verse and one chorus in their key. An accompanist will be provided.
Auditioners should also come dressed to be able to dance. Individuals are requested to bring a list of all conflicts from May 27 through the production dates.
*We are also still seeking 3-5 males ages 18-25 to play lead and supporting roles+
So, yeah, you should all try out. Especially if you're a male between the ages of 18-25, and you can sing or dance. Footloose is definitely a musical with parts for dancers. I can't do it, but I definitely recommend you guys to do it! The Footlite people are awesome, I promise. You'll have tons of fun. So, try out, or tell people you know to try out. NOW!!!!!!
