I'm fine, are you in good health?
I liked Nausicaa anime but the manga one is quite a blow! I'm sure they sell the volumes there too ^^
Hehe I fell in love with Pazu XD

The plot to Totoro is quite subtle. (plot summary) My neighbour lent me a copy she got from a friend, and she said she could discern no plot at all. X)
It is about two girls who move to the countryside with their dad, waiting for their mother to get out of the hospital. And then, the youngest one spots the troll creatures. One of my favourite moments is when Satsuki and Mei go outside in the night and help the three totoro make the acorns grow into a gigantic tree! >^-^<

I am sure I will love Laputa. (*,*)~♥ One time I dowloaded it, but the audio & video were too a-synchronous to make any sense of the movie. I should see if my games store has the Miyazaki/Ghibli movies in stock again. Somehow I am always too late. T_T
Did see Howl's Moving Castle, own a copy of Mononoke Hime, and saw Spirited Away in a cinema in Amsterdam! Love Jp folklore.
Nausicaa manga? If I can find those, I surely will read! (^o^)/

Your Totoro has a biiig smile! :)
Thanks for the summary, i remember Satsuki, Mei and their sick mother but not the scorn part... it's time to watch Totoro X) Mononoke and Howl (heard it was directed by Miyazaki's son)I didn't enjoy that much... :/ Maybe I need to watch them again to appreciate them? Pleeaase watch Laputa you have to @_@ hahaha I enjoy Muska!!

I read Nausicaa's last volume for the 3rd time today. Hmmm I wish I could discuss this with you XO

Hey Mimi!
damn it certainly has been a while hasn't it?
how have you been? Hope all is well~
You mentioned two of my favourite Ghibli's there,
something really special about Nausicaa though huh? It's more epic some how.
I think it's partly due to it's age, being one of the very first ghibli's,
there's something about it anyway.
I did thumb through a few of the manga books a while back,
is the art by Miyazaki himself? It certainly seemed like it.
Anyway do post some pics if you feel so inclined : D

It's been ages! I swore to myself to update LJ more,
and I wish you'd write more too so I get to know
what you're up to ;D I missed you X( I'll wait for your
drawings to show up on the page.
Yep the Nausicaa manga is done by Miyazaki.
It was totally divine @_@ especially the last half of
the volumes...
