There is a Buddhist practice called Munchthatthing. No, it is something original that I created for my own personal sect. This is actually an effective way to get rid of my desire for chocolate and lemon soda and other things that I am obsessed with. If you let yoursef totally indulge with them, you eventually feel tired and sick of it. This way you could give them up for a time. It depends on each individual how long that time lasts. I had done this practice with chocolate bars already. It was effective. It lasted for 2 days. I am turning more and more Buddhist everyday.
