I cannot find words to express my adoration of you and this story. I'm tempted to pull an Alex and just throw you against a wall and snog you senseless... Oh, that would probably be inappropriate. But, HOLY HELL. I LOVE THIS.

First, let's just get the necessary out of the way: ALEX IS AN ANIMAL. I love it and Tony obviously loves it beyond belief the lucky, bruised bastard.

I totally get what you were saying about the backwards porn now and it works very well. Not only does it seem quite in line with the way Tony's mind works but somehow the flashes of images as Tony's memories unfold make the whole thing sexier because we get those little glimpses intertwined with the morning after.

Some of my favorite bits:

Seriously, I feel like I'd built this thing up way too much and you were going to be horribly disappointed with the lack of, well, anything really, considering nothing much happens in this fic at all. And I'll take the damn snogging, thanks very much, to hell with being inappropriate. This thing took me forever to write, I deserve a reward.

Oh, I'm glad you made that association with the backwards stuff and Tony's screwed up way of thinking! It happened by accident (which is the case for absolutely everything I write, by the way), but I figured it suited him to be having flashbacks whilst she tracked him down in the bathroom. Oh, I was certainly aware of Alex's animal status. I just like to mention it as often as possible for the delightful mental images it provides and I would like to thank you for reinforcing said mental images with this fic.

See, I thought you just might have had an inkling about Alex's hornbag capacities. How could you possibly have missed it?! (with skirts like hers.)

I think you've got every right to carry on about kindred spirits and soul mates etc. Sad as it is, I feel the same way. How else do you explain it? Carol leaves and suddenly this total fox appears in Tony's life, and they're just perfect together and complement each other and everything just easy and they just work. *joins you in your fluffy, disgustingly romantic corner of shame* There really is just no fighting the fact that they're fated to be together in a shamefully adorable fashion.

Can I just ahead and write some little bit of drabbly crap about the two of them going on holiday together, and all the comedic misunderstandings and beach-shagging that would entail? I kind of really want to. Far be it from me to stop you. I wouldn't want to interrupt your creative process. Is it just me or do you think Tony would be a total pain on vacation?
