An update? How odd...
It seems my theme this summer is procrastination.
I've got so much to do; enrolment forms to fill in, appointments to keep, fics to write, STUDYING TO BE DONE, emails to send, relationships to sustain, blonde highlights to stick in my hair...
And all I really want to do is trawl through the Indian grocery stores near my house, come home, sit in the sunshine and listen to Lisa Mitchell.
How lazy.
I'm feeling rather in-between fandom-wise right now. I'm still obsessed with Alex and Tony (WitB), but I've found House and Cuddy (and Wilson) sneaking into my brain at odd moments, and I'm experiencing a very odd revival of my high-school love for Murder Call (mainly I just have a massive crush on Lucy Bell's character, but anyway). I've even been feeling an odd desire to do a comprehensive X Files rewatch. Mainly because it's Gillian Anderson, and I have been in love with her since I was eleven years old.
However, the one thing that I've really been enjoying of late is Rosemary and Thyme (don't laugh, please don't laugh). I know I'm young and I should be watching Gossip Girl or some such, but in my heart of hearts I'd much rather spend my summer telly-days watching two middle-aged women plant gardens and solve murder mysteries.
And I'm really very tempted to write some among-the-rosebushes femmeslash for Laura and Rosemary. I mean, they're always sharing a hotel room wherever they go, and they're always frolicking about in the garden. The femmeslash practically writes itself!
Not to mention, it's Pam Ferris and Felicity Kendal. I mean, really. Why do I even bother resisting writing this stuff?
Laura and Rosemary would like you to leave them alone.
They have a date with a shared foot-spa and matching terry-towelling hotel robes.
