Parties, Dancing and Procrastination
The weekend before finals week and what do I do? Party and procrastinate. Because really, what else am I going to do? Write my papers that I need to? NO!! Write my outline for my test? NO!! Why would I ever want to do that? At least I had a damn good time of doing nothing. Here are some highlights:
Friday Night
I go to the TLP holiday party looking uber hot in my opinion and have a great time chatting it up with the coworkers and then getting my flirt on with Link's son. Sadly, I never talked with Will looking so damn cute. I'm sure he was quite sad and jealous of Tony and gazed from afar for quite some time.
I go to Hector's 21st birthday party where Mike and Jamey spend most of the evening competing for my love which results in me pretty much being dry fucked on the dance floor by Mike, Jamey and Hector all at once for about 3 minutes. One of the funniest and most ridiculous experiences of my life! Sadly, Becca did not get a picture in time. Also quite sadly, Mike, Jamey and Hector are all gay meaning I wasn't going to be getting any from any of them (although I wouldn't want it from Hector). I did, however, get a kiss from Mike at the end of the night. It kind of makes up for it.
A bunch of us go to this bar down in Wrigleyville and have an awkward time while Nelle and Aaron work out their issues and then just disappear for the evening. Hector, Nick and Becca also just left Julia, Ben and I sitting in one spot of the bar never to see them again until the bar closed. Good part of that was I got to see this drunk guy pretty much fall all over Julia while he was dancing with this other guy. Hilarious!
Saturday
NSP appreciation event that resulted in lots of yummy treats, competitive pictionary and listening to some of the funniest humming of Christmas songs I've ever heard.
Having a seriously intense conversation with roomie Ashley and having her tell me something that she's never told anyone else. I sat there the whole time and I'm being in a friend and listening to her, but in my head I'm totally thinking like a social worker and thinking of all these different things. It was kind of crazy and yet really cool.
Sunday
Brunch in LSD with Julia just like old times. Of course way too much food was ingested for our own good but it's dorm food and that's what the weekend brunches were made for. Good quality time.
Literally sitting around all day avoiding my work by watching 2 episodes of Grey's Anatomy, 2 episodes of Private Practice, 3 episodes of Samantha Who and 3 episodes of October Road. I have done nothing but sit in front of my computer all day and catch up on all the tv I haven't had the time to watch over the past few weeks.
Now I really should be going to bed since I need to be up at 8:00 for TLP, but I'm contemplating working on the paper a wee bit since I have a shit ton to do for it and it's due on Tuesday along with my Pentateuch final. Yay. Thanks for crazy fucked up fabulous weekends like this one.
