The sniffles are because last year on this date we had a Saskia with us *pout*. This year Prince Charles came to visit Cardiff for the parade. Humfph, not as good as having a Saskia visit!
In other news I've developed a hat-knitting problem. Have actually managed to do a two-colour pattern - Yay youtube and people who video helpful stuff. Going to be ambitious and attempt a basic Fair Isle patterm next, once this one is finished and my achy wrist is rested. Ooooo then I found a free pattern for a cat motif hat! but I might adapt it to a less fussy design so it'd be somethign hubby's maybe wear...hmmmm *ambitous gleam of project planning* planning projects is always fun the actual execution......Oow SHINY.......wanders off...
