Speechless without Writers
An official Writers Guild of America (WGA) website, has some very funny, eloquent short films illustrating the essential contribution of the writer(s) to a film or tv show. I especially like the latest, episode 19 with Patricia Clarkson (I don't recognize the other woman), but Susan Sarandon and Chaz Palmintieri doing an anguished "blah blah blah" scene comes in a close second. Also check out the offering from wife and husband, Felicity Huffman (Sport's Night, Transamerica, Desperate Housewives) and William H. Macy (The Cooler, Fargo, Thank you for Smoking).
