The Babe with the Power
My sis gave me permission to post this, the stuff not in italics are my responses. *grin* We're already planning our trip to the Springs sometime in the Autumn, maybe around Halloween depending on when the baby's due.
Parental rules new Aunties must abid by:
O RLY?
-You will not act heterosexual in front of my child. It is immoral and disgusting. If you cannot be yourself around my child then you are not a good influence.
*big hugs* This one got Karen all weepy. Can and will do. :)
-Your going to have to trim your cat like claws if you want to hold the baby.
Hey, baby nails are SHARP, I'm in more danger than baby is! ;P
-Child must always be encouraged and rewarded when attacking uncle Chewie.
Sorry Chewie, you heard the woman. Our hands are tied. Watch out for sharp baby nails!
-no baby talk, it limits a child vocabulary. You can do baby talk to dog.
Will do! If we slip up remember it's the bunnies' fault. They've given us bad habits.
-You are responsible for art and music lessons.
Lesson #1... must watch excessive Jim Henson stuff!
-If out shopping with Justin and he is trying to buy one of everything for baby, smack him upside the head. He will go overboard if not properly supervised.
We shall do our best!
-You should tell me I look pretty even if I'm covered in baby vomit with cheerios in my hair and look like I haven't slept in weeks.
Baby vomit and cheerios are chic.

We went to the Smithsonian Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit today, and thought of you guys. The gift shop had some very cute Sesame Street things and so on. I gotta add too - Muppets are so much bigger in person than you think of them as! OMG, Rowlf is huge! It was supremely cool to see them and so much of Jim's work in person. He was such an amazing person and I admire the hell out of him. So inspiring and wonderful. Our niece or nephew needs the entire Fraggle Rock series at least for starters. We'll be looking into that. <3
