Thoughts meander like the restless wind inside a letter box
My tattoo is still quite shiny, but healed enough now that I can shower drama free and put lotion on it. Yay! It looks lovely too, man, Divinity rules. I am still seriously considering a small bindi tattoo later this year, and Karen is encouraging me big time! I've played with some designs, and our favorite so far is a small abstract lotus with an eye as the middle pedal and a dot underneath inspired by the image on this book by Swami-ji. Still playing with it though. I kept trying to do a mini version of the Ardhanari third eye, but I just can't tattoo something that's asymmetrical. I can't. Embarrassingly, I'm using a doofy quick front shot pic of myself to experiment with so I can see what it would look like.
On a semi related note... Ooh! I love this Sari! It's so exactly my color... Mmm, Someday! <3 It would be rather cool to just wander around one day, Amarin in her lovely kimono and me in that sari. I wonder what kind of traditional wear Karen would wear... Miss you, Amarin! We still live, promise! Our schedules are just... asymmetrical. :P
Daphne is chowing down like a pro! Now I'm hoping we don't have to start from scratch on that again after her surgery Friday. :P But I've let the bunnies out today so I can clean cages and vaccuum, and they are being so adorable. We rearranged everything so they're all excited and curious little explorers, including Daphne! Even after our medicine wrestling match this morning she ran up to me and sat up with this "Stuff is neat! I'm happy!" look, and accepted lots of headpets. Unut has been running around like a maniac and binking all over the place. When Bowie eventually noticed the condo door was open, he explored a little, ate some hay out of the hospital cage, groomed Daphne extensively and is now taking a nap in the castle with Daphne. So cute.
It's a beautiful day. My favorite kind, rainy but with sunbeam spots scattered throughout. Rainbow weather. I stood out in it for a little while, and that felt really nice.
I screencapped some French & Saunders (love!) and will likely make a bunch of icons for therapy. F&S rules. :) And Jennifer Saunders looks hawt in drag, as you can see in the icon. And I don't even generally dig bearded drag kingery. Perhaps because only Jen and burgundycomics can pull it off. ;)
I feel very serene and a bit out of it today. Dunno why, but it's nice. Not helpful in getting stuff done, but it's nice. Especially as I know it's fleeting, what with impending pms. I can tell it's creeping up on me too. When you're all fine and peaceful one minute, and then "OPEN AND GIVE ME A COOKIE, DAMMIT" at the Chips Ahoy bag the next, you know it's coming. :P
Also, my brother sent me this, and I loled! It's so true...
