I feel stuck, Stuck on a pin

Well, after skipping out on much sleep and taking Karen to work, I discover the fax place isn't open till 10. Okay, I'll just walk around the mall with the elderly folks then, as the mall is also not yet open at 9. I kill time and get some exercise, then head over to the place where the lady is nice and helpful. So far, so good. I call and get the FedEx guy's machine again. Well, sure, it's early. I leave him a message with the place's fax number and let him know I'm there so we can get this taken care of. I thought this might happen, so I brought a book. I finish the book. 3 hours later. I call again, but nope still the machine. So I sketch a bit and wait another hour. Nothing.

Thanks for letting me know you wouldn't be in today, asshat.

I gave the nice lady my number in case he gets the message and faxes her. In the meantime, I have this stupid mistake hanging over my head and making me feel like everything is on hold till it's taken care of. Why the fuck did I send out my test box during Mercury Retrograde, I will never know. Also, upon a second listening to the guy's message from yesterday... They haven't tested the box yet, they won't do that till they get my signature. Which is impressive as the paper in question was IN the box. Wtf...

I waited for that guy's fax longer than I slept last night. FedEx is not endearing themselves to me at the moment. Soon as I left the mailbox place, Hannah Fury's "The Gloves Are Off" started up on my mp3 player, which I thought awfully fitting somehow. On the way back I stopped in at the comic place hoping to find something to cheer and distract me, but I was unimpressed. The only thing that got a half smile out of me was noting the title of one series was Batman: Secrets, to which of course I hear in my mind Conan O'Brian's voice going "Seeecretsss" followed by Batman addressing the camera with some perverse but amusing confession. They had some older ElfQuests that tempted me briefly as well as some overpriced Malice Mizer CDs, but I was a good girl and didn't buy anything. I did get lots of chocolate when I stopped at the grocery store for cat litter though.

health, asshattery, wtf, blue gorgon
