It's good that the Doctor let everyone know what to do to suppress an outbreak of plague, but as viruses have a way of spreading whether we like them to or not, I thought I should note that many of the symptoms related to the varied forms of plague can seem quite innocent at first

There some kinda list of medical types here floating around, or are you the only one?

I don't know of a list, I'm afraid. I do know that there is one other who says he's a Doctor, and he suggested synthesizing medicine, though. Plus there's the town's own doctors.

So... How would be know who's a doctor in these places, go knocking door to door and say "Hey, you a doctor? No? Okay. Oh shit, think I infected you now, my bad"?

Word is the locals aren't quick to talk to us new-comers about much. What makes you think they'd treat any of us if we got sick?

Self-preservation. If they are human, then the desire to remain alive will be more pressing than the desire to make others outcasts. Although I do suppose that such a thing could turn to violence, as well.

Think you might be missing something there. Self-preservation doesn't tend to extend to those on the outside--Tends to be the opposite.

Not if you are stuck in close quarters. In which cases, either they take care of the outsiders, or they turn against them.
