(no subject)
Seeing as they've block everything fun in work looks like I'm going to update here.
Well flew into Luton and oh god I never want to do that again as it's horrible to get into London but the travelodge in Teddington was nice and the staff were very friendly so we got checked in had a bite to eat and then set off on a mystery trip for tinkerbell1980 to get her anniversary present, which was a trip to the warner brothers studios in Leavesden to see the sets, props and costumes from the Harry Potter films. I also got her a replica of the elder wand and a time turner necklace. Much squeeing was done before heading back to the travelodge and collapsing. Saturday included a trip to the matchroom stadium so I could get my present but the shop was shut as the season hadn't started but the very nice security staff on duty allowed me to go down to the pitch so happy.
Headed down to Bristol which was used as base of operations, from there we went to Cardiff for the Dr Who experience and also saw the Ianto Jones shrine (cue more squees). The next day got taken to Cadbury world (yes even more squees but this time with added chocolate) before down to Exeter to see family. My youngest nephew Mason is adorable and spent a lot of time looking either puzzled or bewildered by the antics of tinkerbell1980 spent a day in the Torbay area. Also got some presents of mum which was nice. After the weekend headed back to Bristol where after a nice day out the car we were in got rear-ended so spent sveral hours in A&E getting checked over luckily no serious injuries but one friend had her bad back flair up badly but luckily is recovering with help from a chiropractor. Then it was off to the DWCON but that'll be in another post.
