I really love this quotation. It's so amazing and it really makes you feel like you ought to be out in the streets really doing something important, or special, or creative. It makes me feel like I ought to making something to leave behind in the Universe.
Actually, France makes you feel like that too. I feel like Napoleon must have felt moving from tiny, insular Corsica to big, innovative France. Only I don't have any desire to start marshalling and army and conquering all of Europe. Yet...
