Update on Settling In
It's been a few days days since I started at the hospital. A few rooms have been relocated, but the overall layout is the same, so it didn't take long to adjust. I'm still moving from unit to unit as I'm needed and probably will for some time. If I start running missions regularly again, I won't be able to keep a permanent posting anyway.
In other news, I think I've found an apartment. It's in a nice area and close to the hospital. I'm waiting for my application to be approved, but I don't think any of my references are sadistic enough to claim that I'm a serial killer/drug-user/closet pedophile, so I should be able to move in sometime soon. Hopefully. I'm sure Kakami wants her couch back.
She's still trying to be the patient from hell, unfortunately, but at least she hasn't gotten worse. And she hasn't changed her locks, so I can still go over and drag her to the hospital if she decides to be too difficult.
...I'm feeling way too nostalgic now. Maybe I'll go and get my tattoos redone; it's a lot stranger to see myself in the mirror without them when I'm wearing my hitai-ate. Kureno, are you free tonight?
