Twink voltron indeed! And omg, you mod that kinkmeme? That's amazing. I tried modding the JoBro kinkmeme and it was a massive fail, so I know how hard that is! Go you! Also glad you de-lurked! It's rather intimidating finding myself in a massive fandom all of a sudden - there's so much to know and so much to read, and some of it is scary.

I suppose ship-wise I am preferential to Harry/Louis, but that's primarily because of Harry at this point. I like Louis, but I'd ship Harry with pretty much anyone if it was well-written. And I do like lots of fic about the other boys - will save those for another rec post.

And as to your offer - ugh, there are a few types of fic I'd really love to read, but haven't found yet (although admittedly haven't exhausted my searching options.) I will eventually make a plot bunny post, but here's a quick topline:

I'd like a size-differential fic in which Louis has some sort of mental crisis because Harry's all of a sudden all big and tall and not so boyish anymore? And idk it was okay to make out with him before, when he was just this heart-eyed kid who would go belly-up for him at the slightest hint of a smile, but now that Harry's growing up and he's all muscly (and sullen! Grumpy!Harry is my faaaaaaave!) it's screwing with Louis' head because now he kind of wants to get fucked, rather than just making out and getting Harry off with some handjobs? Cue gay crisis and Harry all confused until he figures it out, then smug, then toppy as all hell.

Umm, right. The whole Larry Stylinson thing. I've read lots of fic where the boys are aware of the ship after they're already fooling around, but I'd like to read a non-AU where they are truly just buddies/bromance only and kind of laughing at the whole thing until maybe they're drunk or a few months have gone by and then they're really sort of overwhelmed by how vehement the fan reaction has been, and they decide to make out for shits and giggles, just to see how it is. And it is good. I've read a couple of good ones sort of like this - where they just decide to start making out for no good reason, but I'd like it to be more specific, where the stuff they read about online gets them thinking about it, and maybe fixating a bit.

I want all of the bungalow!fic ever. Like. That is such a ripe first-time setting! (I am a slut for first-time fics, as you can tell.) I want it all...

I'd like futurefic where Louis ends up coming out and dating a guy (not Harry) and Harry is pissed because, like, they had all of this UST and they could have been hooking up this whole time! And Louis is all, "Well I didn't know," and Harry is all grumpy (\o/) and jealous and eventually they bang.

I was posting about this on another journal recently, but I'd also love a gay-for-pay porn!AU, where maybe Harry and, idk, Liam? are college roommates, and Liam convinces Harry to do a jerk-off video for one of those straight-boy porn sites, for some quick cash. And then it progresses until they're doing it together, then doing it to each other, then meeting the 'pros' (Louis and Zayn, with Niall as cameraman?) and then falling for them and eventually getting fucked. If you were in SPN fandom, it would be something like Relax, It's Just Sex by enoughoflove, which is mmmmngrh so delicious.

And then I also want fic about when partymonster!Harry gets an intervention from the boys on account of how he goes out and gets sloppy drunk and maybe high? And of course it turns out all of his bad behavior is a cry for attention (from Louis?).

Urgh, modding a RPF kinkmeme with a fandom like this one is so stressful.

I feel like most people start off as Harry/Louis because they're the most blatant in their infatuation with each other, but all of the pairings are pretty great. If you're interested here's a primer my friend made for Liam/Zayn, one I made for Liam/Louis, and one for Niall/Zayn, even though none of those pairings include Harry. I like Harry with Niall besides Louis, but I think I only ended up writing the pairing because I wanted an excuse for Niall eating pussy and turning Harry into a girl seemed as good as any.

But YES first time fic! I hardly ever like to read established relationship because the ~tension and build up~ is really what gets me. Honestly a lot of the time I'd take long drawn out pining that only ends in making out over most established relationship smut.

And it's funny you should mention pornstar!au because I've been discussing headcanons for one with a couple friends that includes, this helped along by this and "or where liam is like one of those ~gayforpay things and louis is all ready for him to be one of those typical guys that complains the whole time, acting disgusted and grimacing, but he turns out to be oddly earnest and actually nervous about doing it right because he doesn’t want to hurt louis or something and blushes the first ten minutes, like he’s embarrassed to have a boner while shooting a porno"

I sadly don't have anything thing that matches what you're looking for exactly but there's a couple I think might interest you if you haven't read them yet
play a chord - the deciding to just start making out trope which I love because it avoids the serious angst a heartache people like to do with the pairing sometimes that doesn't appeal to me.
discovering so much more to life - Louis helps a Harry get off in the early days of the XFactor house
are you catchin' all these tracks that I'm layin down for you - them trying to deny the attraction between them because it would be bad for the band
high in the theatre - Louis realizes everybody but he and Harry think they're dating trope
I don't know about me but I know about you - playfighting about who's the better kisser turns into making out and frottage

Welll if you're looking for slow build fic and you're willing to dip outside Harry/Louis I could suggest some truly great ones. Liam/Louis is sort of my pet ship because no one seems to give them a chance most of the time but harriet_vane just posted the most lovely high school!au Someone Like You: "A high school AU in which no one goes to school, ever. Liam has a crush, and then he runs into his crush at a party, and everything gets very complicated."

And then Liam/Zayn wise there's jannika's A Bench, A Basement, a Tattoo parlor, a Stage, and The Seeds of Revolution also a high school!au but includes Harry/Louis. And luxover's the difference between knowing and knowing which is an amnesia fic where Liam get's hit over the head and forgets the past two years of his life, including One Direction and Zayn.
