i "enjoy" being a girl
It's going to be 80 today! I'm inside on my computer. Although I did take a run to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. I'm a drugstore fiend (not in that sense, people). I'm a sucker for cosmetics, hair products and other random things that I can find in the hallowed halls of the pharmacy chain store. The problem with this? Um, I hardly ever wear makeup. But I buy a shitload of it.
Not only do I buy a ton of makeup that I hardly ever wear, I seem to buy the same colors over and over again. A girl like me shouldn't do these things.
Why all the ranting? Because I bought some Revlon Lip Stain today and it tastes like absolute ass. It is nothing that I would want on my lips, despite the fact that the color is fabulous. I guess I'll have to learn to live with it, or off the discard pile it goes.
I wonder if the beauty product urge is residual of my life in publishing. Man, the beauty giveaways were one of the best parts of working in Teen Magazine Hell.
