Who the hell....

Yeah, so I had another run in with Dr. A-hole. It happened yesterday and I swear, I almost quit. I was so angry, I walked out of the situation. That's not typically something I do. Oh well. I was just very pissed off. What a fucking prick I swear! First he was trying to be all hoity-toity and I wasn't buying it. Then we got backed up at work. No issue, it happens. He ordered an x-ray on a patient with an injury that was 5 weeks old. Not a problem. Oh, so it's fractured. He tells that patient to have a seat in a different room because he's going to need a cast. Sure thing. I went in the room and got out all the supplies that he needed. I know how to put the splints on (that's all we were going to do for him), but I'm not going to be responsible for a bone healing incorrectly so that's as far as I was getting involved. I told him that all his stuff is out and ready and I would assist him with it (I'll help hold the stuff in place while he wraps it up, not a big deal). He said thanks I'll be with him in a few. Typical answer. I waited. And waited. And waited longer. Twice the patient's chart was put back in the physician rack for him to go in and he kept putting it in the nursing rack like we needed to do something. Finally I told him he needed to see that patient, he had only been waiting an hour and a half for a cast (I failed to mention that he waited almost an hour just to see the dr to begin with). That's when he told me that he had already spoken with management and that they said he had to clear his rack before doing any procedures. Ok, well to me the procedures are more important to get people relief before seeing the sore throat. Not that the sore throat isn't important, but come on! So I called management at home. She didn't sound very happy. Especially since he was asking for her number already. Well, I told her that I wanted her to hear the situation from me becuase last time he had something negative to say about me, he almost got me fired by putting words in my mouth. Yeah, not happy. So now I'm curious to see what he has to say because the person I talked to said that situation should have never happened and that patient didn't recieve proper care. Go me!

Speaking of Go me...I got to go see the Wing play today! That was fun. We lost, but that's ok. The ref's were awful. You can't win when you are playing against another team and the refs. Oh well. It was still a good time to go down there and watch the game. I wouldn't mind doing it more often. So if you have any tickets and you need someone to go with you, call me!

Ok, well I should be off to bed. It's late and I have class tomorrow and I have a test on Friday. Nite all!
