[Chidori's voice could usually match Ange's deadpan, but she's still grasping for something - her precious thing, her friend - she knows isn't there.]

She couldn't deal with that right now. There's some silence before she tries to speak again, her voice closer to its usual coldness, though hushed.]

[ Maybe there's a part of it that hits Ange too, somewhat. 'Why won't they just let me rest', surely she's thought that before too, if not just 'why won't they just leave me alone'. So her deadpan softens just slightly, even if her tone is still pretty calm. ]

... 'They' are the ones who took us here. The fae. [ There's clearly some disdain with that word. ] I'm not sure what exactly it is they took from you, but they're probably always rather amused at our suffering.

[It's a little funny, how easily the distaste slips in her voice, considering her old comrades back home might fit that description. 'Amused at our suffering...']

[The 'her' is a slip, a little reveal, that she isn't quite fully coherent enough to hold back in time. She's not even looking at the screen, eyes almost out of focus, looking downward to the side. Still, she manages to hide some of her distress as she goes on talking, because she hadn't counted on strangers poking and prodding into her business.]

[She snaps at him barely before he has time to finish. She's being a little sulky, though at least takes the time out to inhale sharply through her nose, calming down.... slightly. For all the lack of immediate rage in her voice, it's still hard, still aggravated.]

[Yuuup Aigis is getting some snarl in Chidori's voice, there. Given the circumstances, Chidori can't really say she's happy seeing her too, at the moment!

Though it takes her a second, she's pretty sure it's Aigis, the little they'd ever spoken personally. Junpei had mentioned the strange girl, of course, the not-quite-human thing she was.]
