I've been really bad at posting lately. I have been watching stuff though...
1. My flatmate's bf has just started on book two of A Storm of Swords and my flatmate has been hovering over him ever since just waiting for him to get to that chapter, which is hilarious given that when my flatmate started on that book I was hovering over her waiting for

Same here. I know evil stepmothers and kids being raised by someone not their parents is big in fairytales, but I really hope the show is going for a massive subversion of those two tropes, particularly given the modern setting. (One of the few things Heroes did really well back in the day was exactly that, blowing the evil adoptive parents trope out of the water. I really wouldn't mind a repeat of that storyline).
I actually really hoping the spell backfired a bit and as a result the Mayor's got a bit of a tragic split personality thing going, one half Evil Queen, the other just a slightly strict but loving single mother who's having a difficult time given her son's got it into his head she's evil (the mirror scene gives me hope that's what's going on).
5. Me too XD Although, I'd never given Britta/Abed as a romantic pairing a thought until the Rational!verse, but that scene was so great I am really curious about them. Thinking back, Abed made a comment in Chaos Theory that Britta's a wild card to him. They'd have a really interesting dynamic, but I don't think it would ever happen outside of a dream sequence.

5) Oh, they definitely won't. But I like their dynamic. I think I will always hold a special place in my heart for it due to Abed, in-D&D-character, expressing appreciation for Britta's concern for his race's well-being after everybody else complained she was taking it too seriously. It was lovely of him to do, and the best thing is that, since it's Abed, he did it with objectivity. =D

5) That's such a cute scene, and my favourite from that episode (and one of my favourites from the entire series actually). You know, I've decided I want an episode where Britta tries to psychoanalyse Abed, only to have Abed to decide that of the two of them, she's the one who needs more help, so turns it on her. After all, with the Britta-Bot song, he's got her pegged.
