Gratitude (and a little anxiety)
I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shout out and thank you to everyone for the good wishes and support.
The weeks of preparing for Step 1 (of the medical licensing exam) proved even more trying than I anticipated with the passing of my beloved dog Caesar almost exactly a month ago. You guys have been so incredibly helpful, from the kind words and comments to providing entertaining and distracting things to read and view during study breaks. LJ/Fandom has been such a great destressor.

The test begins in 5.5 hours and quite true to form, I'm too anxious to sleep. I can't wait for it to be over.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to combine two year's worth of science and clinical material into one eight-hour exam that plays a big part in determining specialty choices and residency placement should be subjected to torture, like having to experience it, or long-term Cameron exposure. :)
