Maelstrom: The Zombie Opera.

If there is one thing that Portland loves, its zombies. If there were to be a close second it would be music, so it comes only naturally that these two great things are smooshed together in a great piece of work in PSU's original production of Maelstrom: The Zombie Opera. It just so happens that my lovely girlfriend is the pianist for this show and forced_plastic oddly is in it as well (I just learned of this today). If you like over the top zombies, blood, classical music, blood and creative uses of security cameras, I could not recommend this opera more. There are 6 showings left, Fridays and Saturdays at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, 8 PM. Best to get there early as the shows have been selling out!
