MechMuertos's Lame Superhero of the Day "Ch'P"
Allrighty before we get into this one I have to say something. I love Green Lantern. I love OA. I love the Guardians of the Universe. I love Sinestro. I love the Green Lantern Corp. I even love the cheesy mantra that all Green Lanterns must say to recharge their power rings:
“In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!”
First try saying the above in the voice of Don Knotts. Then try it again with the reserved reverence of Obi Wan Kenobi. IT WORKS BOTH WAYS! One makes you giggle, the other makes the hair stand up on your nipples.
The bad thing about the Green Lantern Corp is that it is literally made up of thousands of different aliens that seek to keep justice in an injust universe. Which means comic book writers and artists get to come up with thousands of different variations of Green Lantern. But when someone smokes to much angel dust they come up with this guy:

Ch'P is lame. He's super lame. And when you have super bad guys like Sinestro running around the universe the last thing you want on your side is a bumbling anthropomorphic cartoon character with a green bow tie messing things up! Plus he totally gets in the way of the ladies when Hal Jordan is lookin' to get a heap o' lovin'. You know what I am talking about. Its sex. Damn it. I wish you people could follow what I am saying.
