My German exam ran me over like a truck; at least I think it did. Ten minutes or so after the start I hear a soft, "Fuck....." and then we all laugh because that pretty much summed it up. Although I don't think I did that badly.
Enough academia: I went to a lecture about why/if Roman women wore veils; after an Art History final and getting inebriated. My response paper discussed how staff members tore Ms. Hughes and her theory in twain. Also that M. Laird, my professor, was the only person on her side because of what I thought was physical attraction. Good thing I said it tastefully......I think.
Now work and an essay: not about gay black men anymore. I'll discuss the use of religion by transnational corperations for capitol gain.
Either way I'm ready for a break. To visit Canada and to relax.
