More discussion of spoilers
I still don't know all the details. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ALL THE DETAILS but I do know that it's a car/train accident.
This annoys me so much. For two reasons - one, that ultimately this was true since the very first hint/leak at this, which means they cared that little about the fans, the support and publicity they've provided the show over the years, what they wanted from this storyline (both/either Nuke or LuRe or simply Luke fans) and what they wanted to know about the ending that far in advance. The people in charge fucked this up so badly, I can't even.
And two, do you even realize how many highly improbable and stupid events would have to happen at the exact right time for a car to stop/stall on a train track just as one was coming and the driver is somehow unable to get out fast enough? Are we supposed to believe that Reid has that bad of luck or is that stupid? They couldn't have just had a regular accident, which would make it somewhat believable instead of insulting our intelligence and the character with such a ridiculously soapy ending?
