Update
Long time no update.
I am tired, really, really tired.
Got the contractor coming this Saturday to install front door trim, hang ceiling fan and fix cracks in entry way.
Accomplished:
Dining room walls updated - I LOVE THEM. I sponged Sherwin Williams Bolero (dark red orange) and Stolen Kiss (darke true red) over the bright Red and then did a very translucesnt color wash of Habenero Chile (muted bright orange) - IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!
Anagypta hung - I screwed it up but think I can live with it
Chest painted, table dropped off for repair, floor finished and started on trim. Finally got stupid threshold molding in for TV room.
Installing window casing around window with more than 3/4" change in elevation over 44" is tricky - and my clever plan for leveling went awry. The problem is when you make everything you are installing perfectly level and square, it looks totally wonky against house that is neither level nor square
Appraisal next week - wish me luck!
AND my boss is loaning me his camera to snap some picks so I can show off the work to you all! YAY!!!!
Oh yea, looking for a 20-24" bleeding heart jesus or possibly Mary. Can't be plaster - preferably plastic. I broke my favorite lamp but the wiring and electrical is all still good so I thought I would install into something new!
Ah and the tax return is spent - the new trim for the dining room was more expensive than I anticipated BUT there is a real joy in working with freshly milled lumber. And did I mention it is going to look AWESOME!
